This section briefly tells your reader:

Company Overview

This section should include:

  • The overall mission of the business. (Mission Statement)

Product and Services

This section briefly tells your reader:

  • About where your company Is.
  • Also,where you want to take it.
  • It also answers, why your business idea will be successful.

Marketing and Sales Plan

This section should:

  • Describe your market, your customers, and why they want to buy your products and services.
  • Describe how you will sell your products and deliver to your customer.
  • Explain your sales strategy, specific to pricing, promotion, products and place (4Ps).

Financial Projection

This section should include:

  • Estimate of start-up costs.
  • Projected balance sheet (1 year forward).
  • Projected income statement (1 year forward).
  • Projected cash flow statement (12 months forward).

Funding Request

This section should include the following

  • Your current funding requirement
  • Any future funding requirements over the next five years
  • How you intend to use the funds you receive
  • Any strategic financial situational plans for the future.

These areas are extremely important to a future creditor, since they will directly impact your ability to repay your loan(s).

Conclusion

  • This is where you summarize your idea again and stress your confidence in your ability to besuccessful.
  • You should also thank your reader and give them a way to contact you if they have any morequestions.
