About CSR
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Registration) is under Section 135 of Companies Act 2013.The term “Corporate Social Responsibility” (CSR) refers to a concept under which businesses voluntarily incorporate social and other useful concerns into their business operations for the benefit of their stakeholders and society as a whole.
The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) provisions and related regulations will apply to spend 2% of their average net profit of previous three financial years to the business if any of their financial criteria’s are met. Businesses can formal register there commitment to CSR activities to the CSR Registration procedure, which also ensures compliance with all applicable regulations.
CSR Applicability
Net Worth of the company is 500 crore or more
Companies Turnover of 1000 crore or more
Net Profit of company is 5 crore or more
Importance of CSR
Organizations which works upon social activities and are interested to take CSR funds either from governments, organizations etc, they have to take CSR Registration from Ministry of Corporate Affairs to qualify to take CSR contributions from different organizations. It benefits the organizations in many forms like

Applicability of CSR
Organizations which are involved in doing CSR activities and which accepts CSR Contributions, for them Ministry of Corporate Affairs has come up with Compulsory CSR Registration w.e.f 22nd January 2021. It became mandatory for all society, trust and section 8 companies to take CSR registration from MCA so that they can accept CSR Contribution from different corporates, organizations and Government.
According to Notification every entity who is willing to do CSR activities and raising CSR funds they have to get register with MCA by filling form CSR-1 , After successful filling a unique CSR Registration Number will be generated by system automatically.

PAN card of the NGO
Registration Certificate & CIN/ Registration Number
Certificates under Section 12A and 80G
Copy of Resolution authorising the applicant
DSC, DIN, PAN, e-mail ID of the applicant

NGO Darpan ID (if applicable)
Trust Deed / Memorandum of Society
Details of subsidiaries of the NGO
Trust Deed / Memorandum / by-laws of Society
